My goal with this blog is to replicate what I do on my Four Pilars podcast in a literature form so that I can help people become the absolute best versions of themselves possible. Whether that is me sharing my insights of how I take care of my physical and mental health, telling my story of how I found my purpose, what my partner and I do to improve our relationship so that we are always living with happiness, peace and joy or how I learned to cultivate inner happiness through faith, mindfulness and meditation. Given that, I also want to share more of my life here on this blog. Where I can talk about traveling, my childhood, my family and my experiences growing up as an East Indian.

When it comes to life we all have dreams and desires. People dream of being successful, having an amazing body, being in a beautiful loving marriage and being happy.
Throughout life many of us try our absolute best to accomplish the goals we set out on. Some people work vigorously trying to obtain their ambitions, others don’t. Right there is the perfect time to insert Charlie Munger’s famous quote.
"To get what you want, you have to deserve what you want. That world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward a whole bunch of people."
The reason why this quote fits in here perfectly is because, it teaches people that if you truly want to obtain something in life whether it’s a better body, successful business or a happy marriage you have to deserve it and the way you deserve it is by working hard, sacrificing, being committed, and leaving no stone unturned.
For example, say there’s an area in your life where you were expecting results but you haven’t received them yet. For the sake of this argument let’s say you wanted a better body. Sit in solitude and consciously ask yourself, “Do I deserve to have a better body? Am I working out 5 to 6 times per week?” “Am I eating enough protein, fruits and vegetables?” Am I consistently pushing myself in the gym and doing cardio on top of my workouts?”
If you start asking yourself those questions and the answers are no, no, no and no then do you truly believe that you deserve to have a better body?
Sometimes we have to take a pause from reality, from having our head down and working vigorously at our dreams and take a step out of the figurative box and ask ourselves “Do I deserve whatever it is that I’m trying to obtain?” And always remember the world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward a bunch of undeserving people. To get what you want you must deserve what you want.
